es kommt der Moment
Es kommt der Moment, wo der Frosch ins Wasser rennt! Which translates into: Today was dilution day of the Carillon pour un ange. A month ago, I got the fragrance concentrate mixed by my essential oil and fragrant molecules supplier (with EU conform Certificate of Analysis of all Allergens according to EU legislation) and today was the day to see how the diluted fragrance smells.

changes … again
It is Sunday here in Zurich and we look back to a week with a lot of rain (too much) and forward to yet another one with a lot of clouds. Another perfect week devoted to perfumery work. After last week’s twister of fragrant boxes leaving the house for Italy, we will use the coming days to build up stock again.

Nikos Kazantzakis
Nikos Kazantzakis From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Nikos Kazantzakis (Greek: Νίκος Καζαντζάκης) (February 18, 1883, Kandiye, Crete, Ottoman Empire – October 26, 1957, Freiburg, Germany) was arguably the most important and most translated Greek writer and philosopher of the 20th century. Yet he did not become well known globally until the 1964 release of the Michael Cacoyannis film Zorba the Greek, based on Kazantzakis’ novel whose English translation has the same title

How to Buy Perfume Online
These days you can buy perfume online just as you can buy almost anything over the Internet. If you want to buy perfume online, however, it is a bit more of a challenge than purchasing certain other goods like books or small appliances. Unless you go to a store or get a chance to sample a friend’s perfume stash, you won’t be sure you actually like the scent until it arrives at your door.

Holidays in Crete : Bali Rethimno Creta
Bali is sort of a quiet cluster of small villages, beaches and highrising rocks set off the mainroad between Heraklion (45 km) and Rethimnon (28 km). The village is situated at the head of a little bay, on the site of ancient Astale. Bali is set around three small coves.

May Day in Creta
May First is also International Workers Day, a holiday first popularized by the Soviet Union. While it has lost many of its communist associations, it still is vigorously celebrated in former Soviet-bloc countries and other places in Europe. You can expect worker’s groups and unions to be active today; major strikes are sometimes scheduled for May Day.

after some miles in the desert
Back in LA, ready to hit the plane later this evening… thus, here is a quick update on things before I immerse deeply into bottling and packaging in Zurich. The desert was extraordinary cold, for two days, with low temperatures in the night in the 40ies not too comfortable. Actually, while I was sleeping in my tent, folks up in Big Bear Lake got some inches of snow, again

eating donuts
Sitting on the veranda of the motel, blinking into the sun, eating donuts (the devil like another guest here called them this morning) and drinking coffee in a futile attempt to wake me up before I meet Katie. With my European coffeein receptors still expecting heavy dosis of real stuff, there is little hope that I will get into driving mode. Well, then.

an update from LA
I was savely beamed from there to here and got right into my car in LA and right into the motel which is basically around the block of Capitol Records building. Of course, the friendly car rental guy asked his usual questions about upgrading my REALLY small car into something more convenient. and I was warned about the insurance (I am broke if I have an accident) and they feared that I cannot fill the gas tank of the car, thus they have this wonderful option…
