This evening I’ll be representing LeapFrog at the first ever Mom Congress on Education and Learning, a 3 day conference being held by Parenting Magazine at Georgetown University that brings together mom delegates from each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Barely stopping to catch her breath after a sizzling Argentine tango on Dancing With The Stars ( DWTS ), Pamela Anderson—accompanied by her dance partner, Damian Whitewood—headed to the Canadian Consulate in Los Angeles today to hand-deliver her letter to Gary Doer , the Canadian ambassador to the U.S., detailing her concern that the Canadian government is subsidizing the seal slaughter . Pamela has taken her fight for seals from one end of Canada to the other , but her personal appearance at the consulate is her first action in the U.S.

 Tip of the Day: Use fresh gas in your outdoor power gear

You can do nearly everything right for your mower, string trimmer, and other lawn equipment and still run into trouble. That’s what happened with my self-propelled gas mower the other day when I tried to mow in a hurry before dinner. I know I didn’t do everything the mower needed to be in tip-top shape—no grease yet for the wheel axles, for instance.
