My daughter Clover’s 1st birthday is on friday which in our house means, time for a celebratory accessory! I thought about sewing her a Fabric Birthday Crown like the ones I made earlier this year for Craft Apparent but decided it might be fun to work up a sassier, no-sew version that would work well on her smaller head.

On May 24, 1935, the first night game in Major League Baseball was played, with the Cincinnati Reds hosting and beating the Philadelphia Phillies, 2-1, at Crosley Field. Seventy-five years to the day later, the lights will turn on for the cash for appliances rebate programs in Hawaii and Montana, bringing to 52 the number of cash for appliances programs to have opened. Hawaii residents can take advantage of $2 million in mail-in rebates being offered by Hawaii Energy (covering Hawaii, Lanai, Oahu, Maui, and Molokai) and Kauai Island Utility Cooperative (Kauai) through the state's Trade Up for Cool Cash program
