Exciting new styles from Envirosax
If you haven’t already got an Enviro-sack (hmm, is that the singular?) or two, I suggest you furnish yourself with one right away: Envirosax are so easy to fold and keep stashed away in your handbag that you’ll never have to resort to flimsy shopping bags at the till again. Definitely a bonus if you buy as much bottled water as I do…

Shades of purple and orange at Miu Miu
Miu Miu is one label that’s not afraid of using a bit of colour in its autumn/winter collections, and in addition to the ubiquitous orange, they’ve gone for a rather etherial shade of lilac in their A/W 2010 accessories.

Pick of the best: high street pouch bags
Pouch bags have emerged as the mini trend of the moment, but the look is unlikely to dwindle as summer’s boho look takes over. If you’ve already been wowed by the draw-strung styles of Marc Jacobs , Chloe and Temperley , then you’ll be pleased to learn that there are also some damn fine slouch pouches to be had for considerably less on the high street.

Pure arm candy at Marks and Spencer’s
We just can’t help it, us Brits. The mercury has ‘rocketed’ to a ‘sweltering’ *ahem* 15 degrees this week, and we’re immediately lunging for our sandals, shorts and anything with candy stripes all over it. I’m not complaining of course: any excuse for a wardrobe update is a welcome event round here, particularly when we’ve all been stuck in our thermals for so long

Mulberry Somerset Hobo in white
The Somerset hobo is one of Mulberry’s most elegant, simple designs, and I love how they keep re-inventing it in seasonal colours. Last year we had the stunning cerise version , and to keep in line with the summer’s bleached out look, they’ve now released it in white, with a subtle red trim at the edges. This makes accentuates the bag’s features somewhat, and the signature plaited zip-pull look even more jolly and fun.

Happy St Patrick’s Day: green designer bags!
Happy St Patrick’s Day I admit, I do not have a green bag for St. Patricks Day. *gasps* Although if I planned ahead a little bit better, I would probably be rocking one of the beauties below

Sondra Roberts ‘Grape’ Kiss Lock Clutch
Ahh… the clutch! Every girl should own at least one great clutch for that formal occasion or night out in town. The fun idea of a clutch is that it’s an acceptable way to carry trendy or very eye catching designs that you normally wouldn’t encounter on an everyday handbag. Take for example the ‘Grape’ Kiss lock clutch by Sondra Roberts , cool concept and very unique indeed, but I can’t imagine running into someone carrying this design, say on a large tote bag.

Return of the pouch bag at Chloe
Like Marc Jacobs, Chloe are embracing one of the oldest bag styles around at the moment: the humble pouch bag. But unlike MJ, they’ve chosen to let the bag go ‘naked’, with no embellishments, studs or beading.

Enviable green bags for St Patrick’s Day
Green is a colour we haven’t seen a lot of until recently, but it seems to be making a comeback as an acceptable shade for accessories. Here are a few of our favourites currently available to buy.

Mulberry Tamara Tote handbag
Most tote bags are fundamentally just glorified shopping bags. You can bung a swanky logo and brand name on the front of it, but it’s still little more than a bag for life. This is the only one I’ve seen in a while that I’d make an exception for, as it’s such a stylish and regal looking bag in its own right: perhaps that’s why it’s described as a ‘tote handbag’

Burberry Runway Ruched Plaid Purse
The House of Burberry never falls short of adding some kind of unusual feature to their signature collection, in attempt to spice up the classic check print. In the past, we’ve seen both miniature and bold check lines, in a variety of hues and funky patterns such as what we saw in their Check Heart Satchel .
