MM6 by Maison Martin Margiela Perforated Leather Hobo
Architecturally inspired, clean and modern lines are the design hallmarks of a Margiela handbag. While the primary line generally sells for $1,000 and up, this is a much more affordable choice for most of us

Boho is totally back in! And what better time to embrace the look than right now, while the weather is making floaty skirts and sandals a possibility once again?

Louis Vuitton Flowerball and Pink Time Tapestries
Louis Vuitton exhibited two colorful tapestries in January 2010 in its Champs-Elysees Flagship Store, Paris. To be honest, I just knew the news, so my posting may be behind in time, but the fabulous characteristics of these two tapestries push me to write something about them.

Louis Vuitton Motion Derby in Suede Calf Leather
I have to say, this Louis Vuitton Motion Derby of business and leisure like style would capture most men’s votes for its timeless elegance and gentleness. Comparing with its dazzling Butterfly Richelieu in Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2010 Menswear Collection we talked before, this pair is much modest and timid, and more suitable for reality using. As you know, most business men, especially A-list elites, chase top quality yet toned-down atmosphere.

Fantastic Bag Fountain in Louis Vuitton
Last Wednesday, Marc Jacobs presented us an incredible women’s show for autumn 2010. As a neat metaphor for the foundation of creativity that has come from the best of the designers here, Louis Vuitton setting is in the courtyard of one of Paris’ monumental buildings

Coccinelle make some gorgeous pieces, and I’m loving this small-sized handbag new in at John Lewis, which is a seriously handy shape made up in gorgeous soft leather.

Bottega Veneta Cigar Intrecciato Paglia Boston Purse
There’s nothing like a great neutral handbag in an ultra classic shape. That’s why I absolutely love the latest version of the Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Paglia Boston Tote! What I like most about this bag is the interesting spin Bottega Veneta has placed on their signature woven leather style.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Quilty Denim Lila Bag
It might not be the textile preference for most and even though I don’t own one myself, I am guilty of liking denim handbag… or should I say I’m quilty about it. Just like your perfect pair of denim jeans, Mr. Jacobs creates this ultimate fun day bag that’s practical to take on errands or outings; introducing the Quilty Denim Lila Hobo for the Marc by Marc Jacobs line.

Ebay Watch: Lovely Lulu Guinness Shopper
You may have to go head-to-head with me if you’re interested in this shopper, as I’m thinking about putting a bid in any minute now. But don’t let that put you off: there’s only two days left to go on this auction, and the ‘prize’ is a particularly fun and decorative bag from Lulu Guinness’ inimitable range.

High Street Pick of the Week: Oasis ‘Dita’ bag
If you’re looking for something a bit more serious than fun arm candy but can’t quite stretch to Hermes and Prada, Oasis are doing quite a good line in business-friendly luggage at the moment. This ‘Dita’ bag caught the Bag Lady’s eye this morning, ticking all the right boxes on style, practicality and cost.

Hermès Autumn/Winter 2010
Hermès went in for big business chic and padded thermal style in equal measure for its 2010 runway shows. The season’s seemingly essential burnt orange shade made a brief appearance here, too.

Louis Vuitton Romance Bag
My friend told me Louis Vuitton came up with a new purse, named Romance. Just from its sweet name, I guess this purse should be a very feminine, beautiful accessory, suitable as a present for girlfriend, wife or someone you love

Is it 1994 all over again?
Caroline from caroline.feber.se As a teenage in the 90’s Doc Martens were the height of cool for me for years. In high school I was super jealous of all the cool grunge girls who stomped around in the black oxford version, but I had to make do with a cheap plastic imitation pair from Payless.

Nine West ‘Geri’ clutch in orange
I think it’s rather brave of Nine West to actually call and orange bag an orange bag here, and not try to label it as ‘coral’ or anything similarly sheepish. Orange, after all, is a bit colour this season, and next, according to Marc Jacobs . It sits slightly oddly with all the neutrals and dark colours that are dominating both seasons’ collections, but somehow the contrast seems to work.

‘River Petit’ mosaic tote bag at Ascension
There comes a time when we need a bag that’s just great at doing all those traditional bag tasks, like carrying heavy stuff, keeping things protected from the elements and lightening the load on excursions. But if you want something that does all those things but looks fun and funky too, I’d have to recommend this tote from La Vie Devant Soie, which is practicality and style all rolled into one.

Fashion Week Highlights: Bottega Veneta A/W 2010
Bottega Veneta always do texture particularly well, and their big-weave spring and summer collection really set the tone for many designers this year. Great to see they’re still leading by example in the autumn/winter range, which is full of tactile delights. We’re also loving the colour palate used here, which is predominantly dark, but includes some opulent splashes of colour, as in the leaf-green tote (above left).

It’s not getting any cheerier out there. Which for some of us provides a great excuse to go and seek out brightness and colour elsewhere – in this case, in the shape of fun, high street accessories.
