Linda and I have each spent the last few days mostly sitting at our computers. The combination of the sale and the drawing has kept us really busy but we are not complaining!  Drumstick chocolate peanut vanilla chocolate cupcake from Swirlz for Father’s Day

This Drumstick cupcake is being sold by Chicago cupcake bakery Swirlz for Father’s Day and is available today through Saturday, June 19th. It’s a malted buttermilk cake with a layer of chocolate peanut crunch, vanilla buttercream and a final dip in delicious chocolate glaze.

 Cherry Bomb Bakery cupcakes reviewed by Fork It Over, Boston!

Rachel at the food blog Fork It Over, Boston! has been tasting cupcakes all over the Boston area, and here’s what she thought of Cherry Bomb Bakery in Brighton Center: When I went there, they didn’t have $1s and either didn’t have or had run out of proper cupcake packaging: my three cupcakes were unceremoniously dumped together in a brown paper lunch bag, falling into each other and mingling frosting a bit. We got the Red Velvet Sexiness (red velvet cake with vanilla buttercream), Chocolate Stout (stout cake with Guinness buttercream and a chocolate-dipped pretzel), and a mini chocolate.
